Light within, light without

51 Week of March 21  Spring Equinox

Let my eyes open to goodness and light

Filling me with knowing bright

Trust untarnished by the rust of doubt

As I shine within, the world shines without.

As I reflect the world I see

Stronger and Brighter shall I be.

“I just love spring, because everything is waking up”

- one of my third grade students.

That inner reflective I/eye, that lighthouse flame - now it reaches out into the world. We see the beauty of the awakening earth. We hear the song of the birds. We feel the softness of the air - maybe still quite cold but now it feels like water and earth and not like metal.

We can perceive this spring awakening, because it is reflected within us. The inner world and the outer world connect. As we pass through the time of the equinox, the light will become greater and the darkness less.
