The room is dark

I close my eyes

and inwardly open

To thinking wise

To thinking bright

To thinking clear

The light of the world

Is shining here

From dream awakened

My eyes now see

I have been given

The gift of me.

Never doubt this way of knowing/it will never lead you astray/hold closely to the silence/it will help you find your way.

From out of the past the voice of my friend is singing to me The song that she wrote 25 years ago can still be found on youtube, and I can listen to it on this Boxing Day.

The 12 days of Christmas are a time when we can receive wisdom and insight from the spiritual world. Like a clear channel of crystalline light, our own clear thinking awakens in the clear cold winter night. The sound carries. Are we listening?
